The location of this hotel is great. It’s within walking distance of many of Rome’s main attractions, which made exploring the city easy. The rooftop terrace is beautiful, with fantastic views, and I had a very good dinner there.
That said, I booked this hotel expecting a true five-star experience, and unfortunately, it didn’t deliver. The property has a classic charm, but it feels dated and, in my opinion, is much closer to a good four-star hotel than a five-star one.
My biggest disappointment was the breakfast. It was very average—more in line with what I would expect from a three- or four-star hotel. There wasn’t even an omelet station or a proper selection of freshly prepared eggs, and the overall quality and variety were underwhelming. Having stayed at many Marriott properties, especially in Italy, where breakfast is usually a highlight, this was surprisingly disappointing.
The gym is ok however there’s no air and extremely hot. The spa is extremely basic. The photos on the hotel’s website create a very different expectation from what you actually find. I would recommend keeping your expectations modest in that regard.
The room itself was comfortable, and I especially liked the bathroom. The service, however, felt average rather than exceptional. As a Marriott Lifetime Platinum member, I appreciated being upgraded, but the overall experience simply didn’t match the level or price of a five-star hotel.
Overall, it’s a good hotel in an outstanding location, but if you’re paying five-star prices and expecting a true luxury experience, I don’t think this hotel delivers. Setting your expectations closer to a very good four-star hotel will likely result in a much more satisfying stay.

We arrived to the Marriott Autograph Sina Bernini Bristol about two hours prior to check-in time. We actually had a room ready, but there was a discrepancies with my reservation (my error). The hotel staff were very accommodating, especially Veronica. She was very welcoming and assisted with the updated room. The customer service she provided was excellent. As we waited for our room another staff member provided my daughter with a coloring book and crayons. The book included many of the popular sites of Italy. Some she recognized as we had just visited. My daughter really enjoyed the activity.
The hotel’s interior is beautiful and clean. The room was very spacious and we had a nice view.
The location of the hotel is situated away from the heavy tourist areas and attractions, but still close enough to walk to some of the sights if you wish. Access to the metro (Bernini Station) is literally situated out the door less than a minute to the left or right of the hotel and is only two stops to/from the Roma Termini. Across the street is a grocery/convenience store and stop #8 Piazza Berbini to the hop on hop off bus lines.
This hotel was the end of the trip and by then we were kind of pasta/pizza/panini out so we were happy to break away for a meal at the Hard Rock Cafe, about a 10 minute walk from the hotel.
Overall, great location and beautiful hotel. Will stay again. Thanks again to Veronica and the other teammates for the wonderful customer service.

Past its prime. Doesn't recognize elite members. Staff is not accommodating (parts of the rooftop were closed to hotel guests). Did not receive any elite member amenities.
