Bettoja San Giorgio Hotel

The hotel was average, room average, breakfast average. The manager thought was very nasty to me as a customer. Parking charges are 25 Euro per night in a lot that hardly has 10 spaces at best, always full of course, therefore once parked, hard to move the car. The hotel kept my keys on top of it, therefore moving the car in the lot to double park to make room for more cars. I did not take my car out for the 4 days I stayed there and I asked the manager for a discount. I was rudely dismissed saying that I got a good price for the room, therefore I should not ask for discounts on the parking. The parking rate was not disclosed in the first place when the non cancelable reservation was made. I found out about it a month later, therefore too late to cancel. The stuff refused to give me the name of the manager so I can file a complain with the hotel chain ownership. I will surely avoid this hotel next trip to Rome.

Big rip off...dingy room, had to go upstairs to the bedroom. Stairs are narrow and dangerous. Asked for a box of Kleenex, they didn't have any and told us to use toilet paper. They charge triple the price to people waiting to get on their cruise ship.

Closest hotel to the port and ideal for staying the night before our cruise. Clean and modern with wonderful service. Full breakfast in the morning. Wonderful to relax from long flight, enjoy a wonderful port and hotel, and head out for a cruise the next day.
