I have stayed here in 2007, 2009, and 2010 and plan to return here for part of my Honeymoon this year. A perfect location - hardly a block from Campo de Fiori. It's so lovely to get up in the morning and get some fresh fruit from the market and a cappuccino on the corner. I prefer the studio on the 3rd floor although all of them are nice - just know there are stairs and no elevator. I feel safe here, there is a lock on the outside door and then nice strong locks on the large door to the room. It is incredibly clean and if I ever had any problem, management is always responsive and helpful. They even mailed me a cell phone I left on the bed one year after leaving. If you want to feel independent and like you're living in Rome, this is a great place for that. They clean the room if you like daily as well which is nice. The bathroom is perfect with shelves for all of your toiletries and the shower is small which is pretty normal for Italy. The kitchenette is great to store leftovers or to cook something small if needed. The air conditioning is great! I find it much needed after a hot day walking the city. One time, I decided to rent a different apartment that looked cute in Rome and it was a nightmare. I called and emailed Capo di Ferro that day desperate for a different place to stay. They met me in an hour with a key and set me up. Love them and this little studio feels like home.

My parents stayed here twice and have raved on about the fabulous location and beautiful city. The apartments are so close to all of the attractions and are a perfect base for your holiday. The roof terrace is lovely and many evenings were spent appreciating the sites and sounds of the area.

I love Rome and am constantly looking for great, fairly-priced places to stay in the historical area, and this one is by far the best I've found for price-quality ratio. The apartments are simple but comfortable and the location is unbeatable. Right behind campo de' fiori, it's like a 5 minute walk to the pantheon and the tourist attractions or a 5 minute walk in the opposite direction to the Tiber and across the bridge to all the good cheap restaurants in trastevere. I also hit up the huge market in campo de' fiori one day and got some great stuff to eat for a stay-in meal. I was worried about noise because of the neighborhood (campo de' fiori is a major hangout with lots of bars, etc), and have had bad experiences for that regard before, but was pleasantly surprised at how calm the little squarenwas in the evening. In any case, this is a place I will definitely return to and would recommend to any of my friends.
