Castello della Castelluccia

I booked two entrances to the Castello della Castelluccia Pool for August 2, 2025, but I had to cancel well in advance. Despite timely notification, I have not received any refund. I contacted the property several times, but the Customer Service was uncooperative, with no willingness to meet the customer or solve the problem. For a structure that presents itself as exclusive, I expected much more seriousness; unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. I strongly advise against those seeking a professional and respectful Service of the customer.

Our experience at this pool was characterized by an obvious dichotomy: while the location is undeniably beautiful and ideal for a day of pure relaxation, the management proved extremely disappointing. Specifically, the day of 20/07/2025 was a clear example of poor organization due to overbooking, which generated unsustainable confusion. It is unfortunate to note the ineffectiveness of the alleged 'manager' (the curly boy with glasses): his total lack of empathy and professionalism makes him unsuitable to coordinate a structure of this size. Although a young female employee made an effort to remedy this, her inexperience is blatant and she cannot make up for the general shortcomings. To make the picture worse, the equipment (sunbeds and sunshades) are obsolete and poorly maintained, with unstable sunshades that would need preventive maintenance, rather than posthumous interventions. This disorganized management seriously undermines the facility's potential. I very much hope that concrete steps will be taken to improve the quality of the Service offered.

I did not stay at the castle, but I found online. They have a huge beautiful pool that you can use for the day for only €20. After touring Rome for three days I needed a day to relax and this is the best place in Rome. The swimming pool is absolutely gorgeous and big and there was only about 10 people there the whole day. It was like having your own private resort for a day. Well worth the price and they also have great food and drinks. This is a plus for the last day in Rome.
