Cecil Hotel Rome

A time-honored building, literally around the corner from the Spanish Steps, an ideal starting point to explore the Eternal City. Small but sufficient rooms, continuously renovated; special highlight: the rooftop terrace, with a bar, for an aperitif (closes at 11:00 PM). We will certainly stay here again.

We stayed in hotel Cecil for 5 nights with our family of 4. The great thing about the hotel is the location. Very close to the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain and the main shopping area. However, our room was very small for 4 people. The airconditioning was so incredibly loud that we could not sleep with it and also not without it as the room gets really hot in July. The shower head was old and not fixed anymore and dropped down on you whilst showering. The hotel has a rooftop bar with overpriced drinks compared to other bars in the area.

Highs and lows for all tastes, impeccable bathroom with bidet, very quiet, extremely abundant breakfast with products of all kinds of very good quality. Mini fridge and electric kettle in the room. Upon leaving, we had a very nice chat with Mrs. Rosario.
