Colorseum Resort

When we arrived late evening we were greeted and shown to our apartment. It was just what we wanted. Good sized room with bathroom. Very clean throughout. We were a couple of minutes walk from the colosseum and close to some incredible restaurants. If you are looking for somewhere within easy reach of transport links and fine food this is the place to be! 10/10

This "resort" was the worse hotel/lodging experience I have ever had. Although location is great, a block from the Colosseum, the people who work here are HORRIBLE! First they tried double-charging us for taxes and transaction fees. Second, my husband and I went with another couple we are friends with, who are Italian and speak the language, but the staff didn't know this. The staff was talking in a rude and disrespectful way in Italian about us. Third, we went in the middle of summer where we would find the housekeeping staff turning off the hot water (so we couldn't take a shower) and the A/C so the room was stuffy and hot as hell. I DO NOT recommend this location to stay.

Average hotel. Friends were staying near by in much nicer place for less. To make matters worse I returned home to find my card had been charged twice for the stay and am still trying to arrange a refund 4 months later!!!
