Colosseo Panoramic Rooms

Lovely clean room & location with a view of the forum and colosseum. We spent 5 amazing days in Rome, this was the perfect place to stay! Room 2 was clean (spotless actually) and spacious, lovely view from the window of the Colosseum which blew our minds! There is also a view of this from the bathroom. It is close to transport links and there are plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby. Laura was the best host and shared lots of wonderful tips, places to visit and good spots to get traditional foods! We honestly had THE best time and can’t wait to return! Room 2 had such a lovely vibe my fiancé proposed here with the colosseum view from our window! Absolutely perfect!!! (We aren’t ones for being public & Rome is BUSY!) There are also facilities for making tea/coffee, a fridge and hairdryer. We also liked that there was a safe we could put our things in rather than carry valuables around. The property is ideally located directly across from the Colosseum and close to the Roman Forum. While Rome is a great walking city, the metro is just steps from the room making getting around easy. The hosts were practice and considerate in supporting arrival, the stay and the departure. The restaurants just outside the door are ok but watch for additional charges from the one that has a night club vibe inside. We got charged for some spritz water we didn’t order. Otherwise the view and energy are great.

Extremely friendly, welcoming and clean apartments in a lovely old building. I stayed here in March 2024. As I was checking in after 9pm check-in was done via WhatsApp with step-by-step videos as the Reception is not manned 24/7. I was a little concerned as I was travelling alone and this setup was different for me, but I needn't have worried as all the instructions were clear and easy to understand. The room was cleaner than some 5 star hotels I have stayed in with a beautiful side view across the Colosseum and Forum and a very comfy bed. I never met the owners in person (Claudia, one of the owners, checked I was ok via WhatsApp throughout my stay) but I saw the Housekeeper in the mornings and he was always friendly and asking if everything was fine. I had a small issue with something not quite working which he got fixed straightway which I never got to thank him for. The apartments are situated in an apartment block next to the Colosseum so there is street noise and noise from other apartments. This wasn't really an issue for me, but take ear plugs if a light sleeper. This is a a great hotel to use as a base as next to the Metro and easy to walk everywhere from. I had a wonderful stay in Rome and at the Colosseo Panoramic Rooms and was sad to say goodbye. I hope to return very soon to explore more of the wonderful eternal city. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
