Lovely hotel, excellent amenities, professional and helpful staff. Close to Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain. Near lovely cafes and restaurants!!

Crossing Condotti in Rome is a well-designed property in an excellent central location, and there's a lot to like about it. Having your own kitchen was wonderful. We loved the ability to make our own breakfast, pop down to the local market for snacks and groceries, and have that flexibility and control over our meals. It's a great setup for a family. The bathrooms are really nice, and the apartment itself is thoughtfully designed with good bones and nice finishes. But there's one significant thing the listing doesn't make clear, and it's worth knowing before you book. This is an entirely interior apartment with no exterior windows. All of the windows look into a courtyard, so you're not getting any natural light from outside. Combined with the dark paint throughout, it makes the space quite dark, even during daylight hours. We found ourselves waking up sometimes with genuinely no idea what time of day it was. It's not a dealbreaker, but it's a real adjustment, and it's frustrating that the listing doesn't flag it upfront. The location and the kitchen setup are genuinely great, and the bathrooms are lovely. But if natural light and a sense of day and night matter to you, you'll want to think carefully about this one. It's a bummer to discover this limitation after arrival rather than knowing it going in.

We had a very pleasant stay at this guest house. First the high notes. It is generally quiet with at least our room completely on interior windows so no street noise. Our room, a small suite with sitting area had a great shower (within the bedroom), very comfortable bed, great linens, refrigerator which was restocked with juice boxes, waters, milk daily (included) along with packages of biscotti. It is right in the middle of high end shopping if that interests you. Steps from the Spanish steps. Restaurants everywhere. Small supermarkets nearby. Now the downside. The "wall" separating the bedroom from the sitting room was a metal grate with door of same material. No sound of light proofing. The sitting area had one chair for sitting and reading so the second person was left with sofa like seating in an alcove. Neither seating space was great for morning coffee. An effort was clearly made to make the space interesting, artsy and different. It chieved those ends but sacrificed convenience.
