Dem Guest House

Hotel cancelled stay for June 2022 and still 2 months on they have still not refunded hotel stay... Payment was taken through a company called Olam Resort so be careful when booking this hotel as its extremely hard to get a refund before they used a different company to take payment

Excellent cost-benefit! The room was neat, clean and very comfortable. We were very well received and looked after by the staff (my thanks to Max for the attention!). Communication in the days prior to checkin was also excellent! The building is very close to the metro and Roma Termini station. Even so, on most days we were walking to the center of Rome. Although the DEM doesn’t serve breakfast and dinner, the area is very well served by snack bars and restaurants (recommend the Aquila Nera pizzeria which is on the same street) and markets (Mercato Centrale Rome 200 meters away). At the reception there is a coffee machine that can be used free of charge by guests. The room had a minibar, TV, air conditioning and a closet with a safe. The bathroom was large and had no problems with water temperature as per other users reports. Towels were changed every day and the consumables (shampoo, conditioner, soap) were replenished. Internet (Wi-Fi) was always fast and stable. They stored our bags free of charge even after checkout.

This guesthouse is the perfect place to stay when in Rome. It is 5 mins from the station, easy to find and close to numerous restaurants, bars and places of interest. Thee rooms are clean and well presented. The bathroom was new and there was hairdryer and safe. The staff where extremely friendly and helpful and even let us check in early and leave our luggage at the guesthouse until we caught our train at 6.30pm. We will be back
