Flowerome

Would definitely recommend Flowerome, Marco was a great host. It is in an ideal location 20 min walk from the Colloseum and the Trevi Fountain and a 3 min walk from Rome Termini train, metro and bus station. Baffled this shows as a 1 star hotel on Google (do not listen to this) Similar to an Airbnb style with the hotel being located within an apartment block. The room was lovely and clean! All amenities provided water, milk, juice and even a coffee machine and capsules which is hard to come by in most 3/4 hotels. Will most definitely be returning next time I'm in Rome! Thank you!

Handy location when travelling from Termini. Only 15mins walk to most tourist attractions. (colosseum, trevi fountain ect.) Area can get a little sketchy at night so do not travel back to the accomodation on your own. Marco was very helpful. Room was very spacious and clean. Good value for money. Would recommend.

We arrived by taxi after disembarking from our ship. Taxi pulled up and indicated that that was No. 23. All we could see was a battered old brown decrepid door. But it actually was the entrance. The elevator was small and there was no room for us, when our bags were loaded, we climbed the two flights of stairs to the 2nd floor. We opened the door and saw 3 rooms,numbered 1, 2 and 3. There was a man and a girl cleaning and we had to wait about 20 minutes until the room was ready. The room was very clean, functional but by no stretch of the imagination could the 3 rooms be called a hotel. It was in a sleazy district, felt VERY unsafe and definitely to be avoided at all costs. There was nobody to greet or meet. Our 2 friends checked in later after we had texted them to tell them that their key was in a bar across the street! It was a very grim finale to a 21 day cross Atlantic cruise. Booking.com should be ashamed to have this place on their site, masquerading as a hotel!
