Hotel Centro

My son stayed here on a prior visit to Rome and found the hotel to be clean and comfortable with a good breakfast. I booked this hotel again in April of 2021 using Expedia. The problem this time is that the HOTEL HAD BEEN CLOSED FOR OVER A YEAR BEFORE EXPEDIA BOOKED HIM HERE. Luckily, I checked the hotel’s website a week before we left only to find that the hotel has been closed for a year and a half. When I contacted Expedia, they said the hotel was open even after they could not get an answer on either phone number and checking the website.

We planned to come visit our daughter who is studying abroad. The students are being sent back to the US. We have had to cancel our trip and this hotel refuses to refund our money. Their cancellation policy is a joke!!!

Our base whilst in Rome. Excellent value for money. Building is old, but rooms are very clean, serviced daily with everything you need. Great breakfast included. Staff were wonderful. Recommend by our family of 6.
