Hotel d'Este

I stayed at the Hotel d'Este for 5 days and I was happy with the service and the staff. The nice thing is being next to the Basilica of Saint Mary Major; besides being very beautiful, it is also the place where the Tomb of Pope Francis is, which is a very moving thing. Paolo A Piedmont /Italy

I would have given 3 stars because the place seems a bit old and dated, and honestly, I found the breakfast quite mediocre; however, I still find it average, and for the excellent location, I think it deserves 3 stars. What made me add 4 stars, however, was the kindness of the reception staff, always available and ready to offer water and coffee to guests.

Beautiful hotel, quiet, clean, good service, excellent location for visiting Rome on foot, everything close to the center.
