I would say it is a zero-star hotel, with a malfunctioning air conditioning; with the July heat, the room was an oven, and I could not sleep. Dirt was everywhere, and the view from the room was into a dilapidated light well.

Bad experience I went with a friend and the looks were paper listening everything and one night a drugged man came to yell and insult us because being on video call you heard everything and according to him it was not hours to be on video call so much that he yelled and seemed to be attacking us and on top of that he seemed drugged as the reception who also yelled and disrespected us undoubtedly the worst experience in a hotel you can not sleep because you hear everything and all the rooms complain, apart it is an old and ugly place

**STRANDED IN ITALY: A HOTEL HORROR STORY!** I wish if there was an option to give 0 stars. Our Italian dream crashed hard on night one. After a brutal long connection flight from Canada, we landed near midnight, desperate for our booked hotel’s comfort. Instead, we got locked doors and dead silence—despite telling them through the booking.com app about our arrival time. We stood outside with our freezing kids for 30 minutes, begging for help via Booking.com, but nothing. A kind stranger from another hotel got us inside the building, but after dragging our bags up five floors, we hit another locked door. Using WiFi, we finally reached the receptionist on WhatsApp and he opened the door. No sorry—just pure hostility, maybe because we woke him up. He yelled at us for being late, ignored our pleas, and insulted us in front of our kids. When I called him out, he threatened to cancel our stay and refused us a room, even with our booking confirmed. He’s the most despicable person I’ve ever encountered. Defeated, we escaped this awful place and found peace at Hotel Altavilla Dieci near Termini Station, where the staff was a total lifesaver. But the damage was done—this soured our first taste of Italy. Booking.com needs to shut this place down for treating a tired family like trash. We deserve a full refund for this nightmare start! **Stay away!**
