Hotel Quisisana

I won't bother repeating what's already been said, just confirm it. Needs repairs, only cold water, mold. Permanent horrible smell in our room. Never tried the breakfast. Only upside is it's close to termini station which lets you get anywhere.

A very good hotel. Excellent location, near Termini and Santa Maria Maggiore. The room we stayed in was nice, very clean, good bed, small bathroom, but clean and with everything you need. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast ok, with good coffee, toast, butter and marmalade, croissants, milk and cereals. A very pleasant stay at Quisisana Hotel.

The hotel has both good and bad but I don't think it would warrant a 3, perhaps a 2.5. First the good, location; its a 3 minute walk from central termini train station and being right in the center of Rome you can get anywhere. You can take a train from the airport and never need a car or taxi again. Pricing; it is very affordable for Rome. Room sizes are standard. Now for the bad; the hotel is very dated and the rooms are in desperate need of upgrades. Cleanliness; the tiles especially in the bathrooms had dirt and need to be deep cleaned or even replaced. I guess the main question is would I stay here again and would I recommend it, if you are looking for a room on a budget and do not have high expectations (or standards) then it is okay, otherwise I would recommend going to somewhere a bit more nicer but be prepared to splash and extra 100 Euro.
