Hotel Starlight

Worst hotel experience ever! There was bedbugs in the bed and you can only pay with cash witch feels very sketchy and inconvenient. The neighborhood was really rundown and sketchy, not as close to the Termini as it seems on the map. We only got one towel each... the breakfast was litterally the cheapest things you can buy and really gruesome. The personal wanted us out of the room constantly and told us if we dont get out early they wouldn't clean the room because they go home before noon, not that it got any better after cleaning... The last day we knew that we were supposed to checkout at 10am and they came to the room and knocked on the door to give us breakfast and basically tell us to get out over an hour before we was sopposed to checkout even tho we where told to come and tell when we wanted breakfast... The air condition was not included even tho it was when we booked it so we had to pay 5 euro extra per night... There was also only one role of toilet paper for two people for two days and no pressure at all in the shower and almost only cold water... So in conclusion I strongly advised you to NOT go here!

This place is in a very rundown area which stinks and is full of undesirables. Staff cant speak English which isnt good as English is an international language. Basic breakfast of croissant yogurt and drink. Went out early after breakfast but the staff are very rarely in they give you keys to get in and out. No emergency numbers in the room. Toilet roll holder hanging off and last day we were left without towels we eventually got some. No kettle in room, tv didnt work not that I watch much tv anyway but checked it and it didnt work, fridge wasnt very good either. Very depressing place with unhelpful staff. They should speak English and be available in case of illness and emergency. I will never go back to rome it is a dirty smelly place full of rip off merchants hotel starlight included. Apparently there is a safe deposit box available no one told us and there was an air conditioning unit in the room but no one explained how it worked. Basically they take your money and couldnt care less.

It is a cheap, very basic hotel/hostel, but it have what you need on Holiday in Rome, when you spend all day out anyway. The staff is very friendly eventhough we only meet them at check in and out....
