House Loft Rome

The location of this place is in the heart of Trastevere, but not far from the Lungotevere (the road alongside the Tiber River). Our room was on the first floor (one story above the ground floor) on the corner with a lovely little view of a small intersection of 2 little backstreets. The room was well-heated, the bathroom functioned perfectly well and wifi was great! Equipped with a tiny but well-stocked and -designed kitchen area, this place is perfect for 2 people who want to be near some activity but who can be comfortable away from the major tourist areas of the Centro Storico. You could very well make your room here your happy place!

If you can't beat them..... bring earplugs, or stay somewhere else. Room was nice and modern. We just didn't like the didgeridoo at midnight underneath our window. Mind you, he was an excellent street artist. Just got the timing and place wrong. Saturday night brought a party flog trough the street all the way up till 4 AM. The door showed serious signs of multiple break inns, so we took all our valuable possessions with us and the ones we just HAD to leave behind we hid in clever places. It felt a bit intrusive and made us wonder every time we came back to the apartment if we've had unwanted visitors. Lastly: the matress on the bed was one of those old fashioned spiral ones and therefore fit for replacement. To sum it up: if you're a real night crawler, this is the place to stay. If you're more of a sightseeing type and like to be fresh in the morning: go look somewhere else.

I stayed at House Loft Rome with my family (2 teens, husband and I).All of us liked the place. It has all we needed, two double sofa beds, kitchenette, dinning table, tv, beautiful decoration and nice location. Trastevere is a Rome's very nice neighborhood with lots of restaurants of all kinds and beautiful churches. Just the shower's door needs some maintenance. I'll stay there again!
