Ines Downtown Bed & Breakfast

When we arrived we were told that our room was renovated. The owner Alex had instead arranged for us to live opposite in a studio. When the proprietor showed up, he had in turn arranged a room at the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore. The room was facing the courtyard, private bathroom and kitchen which was shared with four other rooms. Completely renovated, so much so that the plastic remained on some details in the bathroom. Very fresh. However, the bed was very hard. Breakfast was served at Ines restaurant which was then a few minutes from the room and where we were received with happy words every morning. The location could not be better, both in terms of attractions, restaurants and proximity to the termini so we did not have to carry our luggage so far. We are happy to stay here again!

Very good place near Termini. Clean room, nice owner. WIFI by optical fiber :) , TV and small bathroom. Comfortable beds and good air conditioner. I am satisfied with my stay. Additionally you can store your luggage in the owner's restaurant.

The accommodation is situated really close to Rome’s main station, a frenetic, crowded, noisy, grubby area full of overseas tourists, ex pats and homeless people, but kind of exciting. My room was on the third floor of a four sided apartment building with a court yard in the middle. Not a garden you could sit in, though. There were a few stairs (the host carried my case up), then a lift. The room was spacious and comfortable enough. The bathroom was small and the shower not the best. The shower door was hard to open from the inside. The place was kept spotlessly clean and tidy thanks to daily room service. The kitchen with a light breakfast provided was useful. The host doesn’t live there but was available by phone or at his restaurant nearby. There was an amazing food hall at one end of the street and a small park at the other end. The accommodation wasn’t flash but affordable, sufficient and convenient especially for a short stay.
