La Maison Royale

We stayed at La Maison Royale for one night, the entrance is not indicated anywhere, but you have to enter at the house number indicated, where the Atlante hotel is located. At the reception they hand over the keys to the “room”, not present in the hotel but near an apartment detached from the hotel. The room is located inside an apartment, or rather, it is a room of an apartment, adapted as a b&b. It was disappointing as it seemed to us a re-adaptation of an office, so much so that on the doors of the alleged “rooms” there are always the tags of what were the original rooms, example “studio”. It is a hotel that reveals itself as a hotel / b & b but unfortunately you find yourself in a room of an apartment, moreover not at all well soundproofed so that you can hear the conversations of the next room. In addition, the spray of the shower was not well fixed, so much so that it was difficult to do it. Positive notes the breakfast on the top floor of the hotel, and the central location, but a night spent here is also too much. I'm sorry because the staff was really nice.

This place doesn’t exist! No signage to help find at the time of CheckIn Locals have never heard over the place! This is not a hotel but instead an apartment which belongs to Hotel Atlante! Check in at the hotel Atlante and a room attendant will walk you over to the apartment about 3 mins walk away! A secure building with a decent outdoor space Indoor is not huge but much more modern than what is shown in the pictures! There is a small kitchen if one is planing to cook with utensils provided. No kettle but a small fridge! Good temperature adjustment available. Beds are decently comfortable! Hot water- day 2 the water had run out! If you intend to shower after 8 pm pls don’t! Ensure you have considered alternative times. Breakfast is OK nothing special. The views from Les etoiles and roof terrace are phenomenal.

We drove directly here from the airport and after asking around we found it! (maybe some signage would help) We checked in with the hotel next door and were treated excellent and shown to our room by the bus boy. It was a very comfortable suite for the 2 nights with a super breakfast each day. There was also a rooftop lounge and that was a hit for the sunset's. A short walk one way to the Vatican City and the same distance the other direction took us to the hop on hop off bus. A great start to our trip.
