Laterano Inn

Angela was very welcoming and was usually available if anything was needed throughout the day time. The room was clean and comfortable and facilities were good. The neighbourhood is nice with a few local café's and newsagents nearby. Certainly a place worth returning to in future.

The host is attentive and very pleasant. The room we had (n•5) was spacious, clean and quiet. We had a private bathroom with everything you needed. We had the pleasant surprise that our bed was made. Well located with the metro at the foot and the Colosseum 15 minutes away on foot.

From the minute my boyfriend and I arrived at the Laterano Inn, the host, Angela really couldn't do enough. We stayed in a room with a shared bathroom, however, there was never no waiting around for someone to come out etc. The bedroom itself was very spacious and included air con and a fridge which was a great bonus! The room was cleaned everyday to a standard that was faultless. Angela honestly goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome! In terms of the location, the hotel is directly facing the San Giovanni metro station which made it very easy to get to all the tourist attractions in good time. I wouldn't recommend the restaurants surrounding the hotel itself, the staff were quite rude and the food very average. The area of Travestere is not far and can be quickly reached by tram or bus right outside the hotel. It's a very nice area filled with loads of restaurants serving excellent quality food.
