Laurence

We ended up at Hotel Laurence because a family member took ill on holiday and the hotel was close to Tor Vergata Hospital. The staff couldn't do enough for us - they showed utmost kindess and went above and beyond the call of duty to make us comfortable and help us out at a difficult time. Special mention to Ana who even drove us in her personal time to a local landromat/supermarket for supplies. Hotel Laurence is a budget hotel but it is spotlessly clean, comfortable, safe, and has everything you need. In times like these you realise what matters most and that is how you are treated by other human beings.

nice staff, nice rooms, clean but this is so far away from the city center!!! the breakfast are quite decent, the rooms are big, there is a "cantina" 150 meters away with good and cheap food (pizza only at night) but 15 minutes busses and 40 minutes metro from Roma termini

For that price, one probably can´t ask for too much. The room is spacious and clean. The main drawback is definitely the noise, walls seem to be made of paper, so you can hear the neighbours as if they´re in your room. And I was lucky that the hotel was basically empty that night. It was a bit chilly during the night and there was no blanket in the room, so a bit unconfortable. Wifi was not working in the room, as mentioned by the reception. Breakfast was ok.
