Excellent bed and breakfast and close to bus line line, restaurants and attractions. The rooms were tastefully decorated and service was excellent. We felt like we were part of the family and they were always very helpful.

My sister and I travelled to Rome this 3 days this May and this B&B was the cheapest place to stay on Expedia within Rome's city walls on those dates. Considering this, I think they did pretty well with what they had. The area is not the best, we have stayed around Termini on previous trips to Rome and knew what to expect: the area around Termini (particularly as you go a little further East) can be navigated if you can blend in and if you know where you're going. Otherwise, I would be a little wary of the many pickpockets and scam artists that hang around the area, as it is a central station. The area is mostly immigrants from China (this is Rome's Chinatown, streets upon streets solely comprised of Chinese clothing stores), South Asia and the streets leading up to the hotel from Via Giovanni Giolitti (the main street that the Termini station lies on) is mainly immigrants from Africa. This does not make the area dangerous and we never had any trouble with the people living there at all except seedy men making seedy comments and staring etc. The area itself is a little sketchy at night, many homeless folk and graffiti all around etc. but this hotel is very close to the metro if you exit and enter on Via Ricasoli. The room itself was very clean, large (for 2 people - one double bed and one single) with very comfortable beds. The street was very noisy. The toilets and the rest of the apartment were kept clean with regular visits from Andrea and Patrizia (2 of the staff) who spoke English and were helpful enough. There were 2 bathrooms with showers that were always stocked up with enough soap, toilet paper etc. The free breakfast consisted of coffee, bottled water,milk, orange juice, biscuits, cornflakes, croissants with jam, marmalade, honey and butter self serve from the kitchen from 7am-10am. There was also free wi-fi which did at times disconnect. So all in all: PROS: + close to the metro and main station + clean + spacious + enough facilities + helpful staff + free breakfast and wifi + pretty good for cheapest hotel in rome on those days CONS: + wifi didn't always work consistently + seedy area + very noisy day and night.

Great space in the room and nice little kitchen for sharing. They come to clean every other day, so it is always very nice. The area is a bit loud, so if you are a light sleeper bring ear plugs. All in all a very nice stay, and very central.
