Op Hotel

This hotel has potential. Staff are nice. Rooms are large for Rome. If you’re doing business in the area, it’s convenient to lots of corporate offices and a large shopping mall. Staff were pleasant. Breakfast is okay. The negatives all have to do with upkeep. I found an old partially used bar of soap in the shower. The shower did not drain properly and flooded the bathroom. The bathroom door was broken. The chair in our room had visible stains on it. All of these things are fairly easy to deal with, but it seems like the owners of this location don’t care so much which is sad.

The location is good (the metro is just a few bus stops, whose stop is just outside the hotel). The reception girls are polite. The room (at least ours) was comfortable, the mattress comfortable and a great TV screen. The bathroom is spacious with a large and plentiful shower. But a four-star hotel doesn't expect washbasin soap to be completely exhausted and a finger of dust inside the bathroom door. The hearty and good quality breakfast (the scrambled eggs are a bit raw, at least for my taste), and especially the croissants are delicious.
