Panama Garden

I loved this hotel. It is on the outskirts of the city, in a lovely residential area with some really sweet markets, shops and restaurants close by. It took us 40 mins to walk into the city, but we sometimes took the bus or the metro depending on where we were going. The room was cosy, the bed super comfy! The bathroom was really nice. The breakfast was good - pastries, breads, meats, cheese, cereals and some hot items too. The staff were wonderful - recommended the best restaurant that we visited during our stay and were very helpful when our return transport did not arrive. Overall, I would again in a heartbeat. Loved that I got to see Rome from outside of the tourist areas.

Booked this as part of a deal with BA Holidays. Outside central Rome but area has great places to eat and a variety of different shops etc to have a look around. Transport links are good. We got different methods of transport into central Rome on each day of visit. Just a short walk away is the bus, tram and metro transport. The walk into Rome if you want some exercise was just shy of 40 min. The hotel is small and some of the decor is a bit tired but it is lovely. Room was clean and comfortable, and the staff are brilliant. Really helpful. Buffet breakfast was great and after a hard day of sightseeing, there was complimentary coffee and cake waiting in the foyer on our return. Would definitely book to stay here again.

Cannot fault this hotel. Rooms are clean. Staff are friendly. There are good bus and tram routes nearby and good restaurants nearby. Breakfast is good and the coffee is amazing! The receptionists are really knowledgable and helpful.
