Pop Art B&B

This stay was in the best location - between the Trevi and Pantheon. In a location where we could walk to pretty much anywhere in the city. The staff were not on site 24/7 but were very quick to respond to Whatsapp messages and calls, very helpful and friendly. We were in the Andy Warhol room, at the front of the property above the restaurants etc, so was very loud into the night but we were so tired from our days out that it didn’t really affect us. The room was spacious with a mini fridge and an espresso machine. There are a few flights of stairs going up to the B&B, so just a note for those with luggage etc. Overall, would highly recommend this stay - great location and helpful staff.

What Stood Out: POP Art B&B shines with its prime location—you really can't get a better spot if you want to explore the heart of Rome. Major attractions are just a short walk away, making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing. Another big plus was the smooth communication via WhatsApp, which we used to coordinate housekeeping. The staff was quick to respond and made sure our stay was comfortable. What I Wish I Knew Ahead of Time: The hotel is located on a pedestrian-only street, which wasn’t immediately clear to us. Our cab driver dropped us off a few blocks away and gave directions in Italian, which we didn’t fully understand. Fortunately, Rome’s locals are very friendly and helped guide us to the hotel. Another thing to note is that the entrance to the hotel is right next to a few restaurants, and one of them slightly encroaches on the doorway—but don’t let that put you off. Also, there’s no staff present at the front desk except during check-in times, but they’re easily reachable via WhatsApp. Overall Recommendation: I’d definitely stay at POP Art B&B again for the unbeatable location. While the area is quite touristy, it’s perfect if you want to be fully immersed in the energy and excitement of Rome. And with fantastic restaurants just below the hotel, you’re never far from a great meal. For those who want to explore the city’s top sights, this place is hard to beat.

Good central location for those who want to be at the heart of things. Windowless room was clean and bed was comfortable, only supplied with a top sheet and no blanket but thankfully weather was warm. Ensuite bathroom was very shabby, tired and not at all clean. It needed a complete makeover and deep clean. The only time we met a staff member was on check-in, apart from that no one was around, we only really had whatsapp to contact her. She was of no help when my wife had lost her purse or with transport to the airport for our departure but thankfully taxis in Rome were generally good. Would certainly not return and can't recommend. At a tad over 400 euros with city tax for 2 nights without breakfast not good value at all.
