It is a hotel that urgently needs to modify its infrastructure. The entrance, the lobby, the breakfast area, as well as the rooms, are old and of low quality. The staff is excellent; they do everything to make your stay pleasant. The breakfast products are varied, but everything is artificial, from the juices to the cookies and cakes filled with unnecessary colorings.

Recommended... clean, a bit dated... and the breakfast room is a bit small; you have to wait for someone to get up... excellent location... friendly and kind staff

Wholeheartedly agree with majority. Hotel Re Di Roma is a real diamond in the rough. Sure, it may not look glamorous on the outside. But don't let that fool you. It's in a very peaceful area. Well positioned. You can get to most sights in 20 mins on the Metro. Both the Metro and shops are less than 5 minutes away. There's a supermarket and a pharmacy nearby where you can get all of your essentials. Plenty of cafes, bars and restuarants dotted around the place. All within walking distance. I'd recommend three places in particular: Mister Hyde (a English-style pub that does food until at least 2am), Caffeteria Wei (tasty late-night ice cream!), La Casa Del Suppli (large range of inexpensive food such a pizza, pasta and rotisserie chicken!). The hotel's interior is well thought out, clean, cosy and comfortable. A 24 hr receptionist greets you as you enter. Staff, in particular those in reception, are friendly, knowledgeable and all keen to make your stay as rememberable as can be. There is a small bar. Prices are reasonable. Quite empty when we went. We did get to sit out there quite late though. Rooms aren't massive. Air conditioning isn't available during the shoulder season. Beds are comfortable. Plenty on offer: a tv, a minibar, a kettle, a safe etc. Breakfast area is small but nice to sit in. Food provided is varied, both hot and cold. Would definitely come back.
