Relais San Pietro

We returned from an excursion at 11 p.m. and we found the hotel closed for renovations. They didn't warn us, and we were left on the sidewalk with no luggage or any idea what was happening. We had paid until Sunday and this happened on Thursday. They charged us taxes for every day and refused to refund the amount. The person who opened the door for us to collect our suitcases was not responsible for having left us on the street without prior notice and having charged the entire stay. On the other hand it cannot be considered 3 stars. I have never had such a distressing experience. I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT FROM ANY POINT OF VIEW.

I spent two nights in this hotel: a very simple place in the Vatican area and therefore central: on the first night I realized that the room was not heated and the water for showering was barely lukewarm. On the second day the water was completely cold and the room was equally cold. The reception, when asked by me, informed me that the boiler had not been working for "a long time" ... when I asked the management, they replied that I am free to look for another hotel

Welcoming and elegant atmosphere. Excellent cleanliness and very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent location both for transport and on foot, it has all the amenities within a few meters. For a stay in Rome this is definitely the place I will return to!!!
