Residence Trianon Borgo Pio

We had a wonderful stay! The hotel has a gym and a rooftop bar with an amazing view. Just a small observation about the drinks: on our last round, we ordered the same cocktails as before because we enjoyed them so much, but they tasted a bit different from the first ones. Also, I had never seen ice served from a plastic container before. Overall, it was a great experience, and we can’t wait to come back! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Rooms here include a full kitchen and refrigerator separate from the bedroom. The rooftop terrace bar has a view of St Peter's in the Vatican, and serves a nice breakfast each morning. Staff is helpful and will get you a cab which will arrive instantly. Very close to the Vatican, and there are both touristy restaurants and better choices within an easy walk. I was wary when arriving, as the room was directly over the entrance and just over the street level. However, the thick blackout curtains were able to curb the street noise out almost completely. Despite its central location, the foot traffic seemed to wane away at night, leaving a fairly peaceful atmosphere. I'd like to stay a little higher up next time, but overall this is a pleasing and convenient stop with amenities not found in many hotels. Recommended.

We have stayed here many times over the years and every stay has exceeded our expectations and also each stay gets better and better. The staff during this stay was very helpful and kind as usual. In particular Elisabetta, Loredona and Damiano were always responsive and made our stay amazing once again. The breakfast on the rooftop area is particularly special. Location is great.
