Julia, the owner was a lovely very helpful English speaking host. The accommodation comprises 3 bedrooms which are lockable and shared kitchen/breakfast area. We are at most 10 minutes from Tiburtini Station which serves the airport. There are 2 metro stations near by, both on the same line. We used Bologna which was 5 minutes up the road to save going to the station which is busier. You can buy a Rome pass ticket at any Metro station which serves the Metro and busses. And the flat is above a gelateria which does sublime ice cream and is open until mid-night each night. Also, just up the hill turn right at the Tabbachi there is a really good Pizza take away which was busy even on Sunday night. The road where the flat is is a great little community really.

Lovely apartment, clean rooms, great location and very helpful landlady. This apartment is only 3 minutes from metro station. There are shops, ice cream and restsurants nearby. Landlady is very kind and gives a lot of useful advice about local cuisine and sightseeing Rome. I also enjoyed breakfasts. The firidge was always full and we could prepare for breakfast what we like.

We arrived at about 11 am and had difficulty finding the place. It's a small apartment in a residential building. You have to find the "BB Roman" button. When we arrived, the room was not ready because the previous guests did not pack their things so the host had a difficult time packing up and cleaning the room. It was a bit icky to find the things of the previous guest all strewn around in the room. We freshened up in the really small bathroom that had no hooks whatsoever where one can put up clothes / towels. The landlady is friendly and speaks good English but does not actually stay in the apartment so it was a challenge, especially when on our second morning, the water heater tripped. Wifi didn't work the first day but worked the second day after we gave the feedback to the landlady. Breakfast is ok - just bread, butter/jam and cereals. The location is very good, though - near pizzerias, beside a gelataria and very near Tiburtina station. One can also walk from Bologna station. I guess we got the right value for the money we paid.
