Room 4 Rome B&B Risorgimento

ROOM: Single room n. 2. Room size is OK, but the desk is quite small. Bed is comfortable. The view of the single room is nothing special (but I've seen that of the double rooms and it is great). The bad thing is that room's walls need renovation, with stains all along the walls which really one does not want to see in a B&B room. The same for the bathroom: size is OK, shower is OK, but stains on the walls (mainly stain of mold) LOCATION: Great! you're five minutes walking from the Vatican and there is a taxi stop just in front of the building BREAKFAST: nameless: you have to go to a nearby coffee and you can have just a cappuccino or a coffee and a cornetto... STAFF: With the exeption of my arrival, I didn't see anyone of the staff during my stay So: good, but it could be *way much* better...what a shame...

A 5 minute walk from St Peter’s Basilica, Vatican Museum and Ottaviano Metro station.. there will be no other place near vatican to beat this location. The room, although a bit small, had a good view from the window, the dome of St Peter’s Basilica, absolutely beautiful at night. We stayed in room 3 on the sixth floor. The building has an elevator with capacity of only two persons or one person with luggage. Although the deal was for advance cash payment on arrival, maybe because we were a bit late and reached only by 7PM, the deduction was already done from my credit card. The breakfast is just namesake, a drink and croissant from a cafe next door. As we used to leave everyday by 7AM, we could never really have the breakfast although we stayed for 4 days. House keeping is good and is cleaned everyday. Wifi was excellent. Checkout time is 10:30 AM, but we were allowed to leave our bags in the room till 12 noon. It was very easy to find, about midway to St Peter’s basilica from the Ottaviano metro station on the Risorgimento piazza, right next to the pharmacy. Would definitely recommend this place and might even stay here again if we happen to plan another trip to Vatican.

if you are traveling by car , be careful because this hotel is not free park, it promisses that it has free wi-fi, breakfast and parking free but you have to pay the park . breakfast is a voucher for a cafe and croissant downstairs nothing more. We were 2 nights and they did not clean the room only someone came in and straightened the bed blanket. It has no front desk and if anything goes wrong is not anyone to ask for help good location only
