Surprising in Rome

Toilets not working properly. Little water comes out of the taps. It takes forever to wash. It would be enough to do normal maintenance.

Arrived to the hotel and within the first 30 minutes thought the mend was VERY uncomfortable. Lifted the mattress and it seemed as though there was something sticking up from the bed base. We were MORTIFIED to find the mattress covered in black MOUD and the bed was being held up by a piece of plywood. Attepted contact with the property multiple times via pone and email with no response. Ended up having to book another accommodation and cancelling the Sweet Home 294 accommodation. They had the absolute nerve to not only take money out for the stay, but charge us TWICE for the cancellation. So not only did we pay EXCESSIVE amounts of money for a mouldy room, but we also had to pay for another accomodation!! Significant risk to health and safety for anyone. Still trying to chase our money in September 2024! The property won’t even respond to booking.com. Absolute SCAM

It is a scam 😡 After Reservation and making the charge to the card a few days after the trip they leave with canceling the reservation because the card is not valid when it has been charged previously, no one responds or gives solution there should be more security when promoting bad death sites serving as intermediaries are just as scammers as those of the hotel especially booking....
