White Rooms Colosseo

The worst experience ever ! I booked with my partner 17-20 july to this apartment in Rome and they just fraud guests . White Rooms Colosseo is a complete scam. The photos on Booking are clearly taken from the internet or heavily photoshopped – they look nothing like reality. I posted the real photos, and they have absolutely no connection to what is advertised. The “kitchen” is shared, dirty, and has no proper equipment at all. The bed was in horrible condition, so uncomfortable and filthy that it makes you feel disgusted to even lie down. The walls are dark and depressing, and to make things worse, when we arrived for check-in at 14:00, the worker was still painting the walls at 15:00 and the smell of painting walls was all over . The bathroom was in scandalous condition – half destroyed, dirty, and under unfinished construction. On top of that, the host Federico was extremely rude and unprofessional. He shouted at us, told us to leave the apartment, and refused to refund the payment. We were forced to call the police for fraud. Only after the intervention of two officers did he return the money we had paid through Booking. This place is unsafe, dirty, and run by a dishonest host. Avoid it at all costs

Perfect stay. Excellent location in the heart of Rome. The rooms are spacious and spotless. Suitable for every need. Owners friendly and helpful, very considerate even in the days before arrival at the property. I will definitely be back Super recommended!! Bravo!!!!

We were to stay at the White Rooms Colosseo From Oct 29-Oct 31, 2020 but had to cancel due to covid and were advised that we would be credited with the stay. As we could not return in 2021 for exactly the same reason we tried to reschedule in September 16, 2021 for Sept 13-17 2022. Instead, we were denied a credit on the 2022 stay or a refund which is required under European Union rules for fellow European but tourists from elsewhere were denied these protections and left it up to the individual properties and booking agents, in this case Bookings.com. The 4 of us lost a total of 334.60 Euros. I believe this to be unethical and as such would not recommend this property. We did return on these dates to Italy but stayed with another property. Previously we had stayed at this property and referred other friends, but no longer.
