Relais Falisco

Three weeks ago, I made a confirmed reservation for two nights at this hotel through a major international company (HRS). I got there at 6 PM, but the door was locked. I called up the number I found on my reservation confirmation. The lady said that the hotel had been closed for months, that she had not received any reservation, and that she did not know HRS. I asked her if I could show her my copy of the reservation, which she asserted did not exist, and if she could help me find another hotel in town, but she refused to comply. I called HRS and their astonished operator tried to call the hotel (5 min after my conversation) but nobody took the call. Shame on them! Lies shouldn't fly.

Very nice hotel with an elegant restaurant. The building does not look like a castle, but inside it is a castle. We got a suite had been used by the duke. The restaurant is elegant and the food is delicious. The staff was very professional and friendly.

We wanted to stay a little closer to Rome our last night in Italy. So glad I found this place on line. The hotel is in an old mansion of a Count. Tons of rooms to sit and relax just like you’re there visiting a Count. Staff friendly and helpful. And don’t miss dining at their restaurant. Absolutely incredible dining experience in the old horse stable
