Hotel Duarte

Well I visited Bordighera with friends for business and pleasure and we had the most enjoyable stay and Hotel Duarte. We were met by the owner who had reserved a hotel parking spot for us which was incredibly helpful. The rooms were very clean and nicely decorated. The owner also kindly allowed us to use the rooms after the official checkout time to shower after swimming in the sea. A fantastic experience.

The room was relatively nice, clean and kitted out with ikea furnishings. The staff didn't speak much English so when we got stuck in the worlds smallest lift that proved a slight issue. Breakfast was average at best with the selection of cereal stretching to cornflakes. The wifi doesn't reach the 4th floor so you have to venture down to the 2nd and sit on the stairs to get internet. The owners dog was also barking all the time and confronted us when getting in the lift!

Rooms are very clean, and the seaside view is breathtaking . The view from the terrace/restaurant is stunning. The staff is very friendly and willing to go the extra mile to make you feel comfortable. The hotel is close to the center and only 100m from the beach which is fantastic. Quality/Price : I think there is not better choice in Bordighera.
