World Village Apartments

We have just recently returned from a 6 night stay in the World Village Apartments. We travelled to Diano Marina with Welsh's Coaches, and due to our very late booking we were not able to get a room in the wonderful Hotel Torino. So we were allocated an apartment in World Village, and what a delight it was. All the apartments are themed on different areas of the World - as the name suggests - ours was Africa. The ground floor consisted of a kitchen, dining and living area. The kitchen area was extremely well equipped with electric hob, large Smeg fridge freezer, coffee machine, kettle, iron and ironing board. Also provided was a washing machine which was outside on the lower terrace. Within this area there was also a double bed settee, dining table, chairs, tv and a wardrobe. A semi open plan wooden staircase leads from the ground floor to the first floor where the double bedroom and bathroom can be found. Leading from the bedroom through patio doors there is an upper terrace with table,chairs, rocker sunchairs and a remotely controlled sun awning. The bathroom contains toilet, bidet, wash basins and a tiled wet shower area. A hair drier is also available. The roof skylight above the shower area can be activated via a switch on the bathroom wall. The apartments are set within a very secure gated area, which is accessed from the road by a card key. Car parking is available outside the apartments, plus there is an underground parking area as well. All the apartments have shutters on the windows plus very secure doors. We had a very comfortable stay in this apartment and would recommend it to anyone wishing to stay self catering in Diano Marina. We would also like to thank all the staff at the Hotel Torino for such a wonderful stay.

We spent a week in World Village Polinesia apartment. The apartment is great: all you need for a family of 4: + 2-3 mins walk from the beach, no issue even when carrying a small inflatable boat and many other kid stuff. Small supermarket 2 mins away. - Parking in the courtyard is not included in the price, it was 10€/day. + clean/equipped with all you need (even kitchen), nicely furnished. We did not have to use the airconditioning in 27-30 centigrades outside temperatures. + you have a small terrace where you can enjoy your breakfast or have a glass of win/beer in the ewening. Not really secluded though, separators are fairly low. + great place to visit the Ponente riviera, even to some visits in France (Eze, Monaco or Nice). + Free wifi was working OK in the room and on the terrace - Early morning garbage removal from the streets can be annoying, otherwise very quiet place.

Our family rented NYC apartment for almost 1 month. The apartment was spotlessly clean and equipped with all basic stuff you may need. The location was brilliant - 5 min walk from the beach throughout the beautiful streets, which are also the main shopping area Highly recommended, but bear in mind that it's 100% self-catering (we tried to order a maid service but 50 euro per visit seemed quite a lot) and prepare to sleep with closed windows otherwise the seaguls and church bell (every hour!) will ensure your sleepless nights
