Excelsior

The hotel where it is located has a good position where in the morning you can reach the beach by crossing the train track underpass or otherwise there are nice beaches nearby reachable by car. Well-cleaned and equipped rooms. Comfortable buffet and the food they offer for lunch and dinner is very good and of quality. Polite, sociable, and professional staff. Very good quality-price ratio.

2-night reservation from Saturday to Monday. At check-in, they informed me of a room change for the following day. Although it was unfair (not communicated during the booking phase), I accepted the solution in a pure spirit of cooperation to accommodate the property. On Sunday morning, however, the unacceptable happened. Despite having activated the "DO NOT DISTURB" switch outside the door: At 9:00 AM, a staff member opened the door and entered the room without permission, ordering me to get up to prepare the room for the new guests. I firmly clarified that I would make the change later. A few minutes later, harassing behavior on the phone from the reception, with new pressure to make me leave. At 10:30 AM, the scene repeated itself: another employee entered the room without any permission to throw me out of bed. Breaking into a guest's room with "Do not disturb" active constitutes at the very least a serious violation of privacy and domicile. But beyond the seriousness of the offenses (regularly contested via certified email to the management, who did not deign to respond), even from the perspective of simple common sense and loyalty, their conduct was more than reprehensible: a customer who accepts an unforeseen inconvenience just to accommodate you expects at the very least a glimmer of flexibility; having the check-in for arriving guests at 4:00 PM, one does not expect to be kicked out in this way. For the rest, the property is dated, certainly not up to the 340 euros requested for two nights (even though it is July). Not recommended for those looking for respect and professionalism.

Satisfaction across the board. The place offers all the comforts for a peaceful and relaxing vacation. The staff stands out for their kindness and helpfulness. Furthermore, it is convenient because it is close to many services, including bus stops and the train station. Thank you! Raffaele
