Agriturismo Golfo dei Poeti

The pool remains the best of this agriturismo. Apartment was OK but not waaw, just basic. There was air conditioning and everyone had a fixed parking space (at least if you got there, because the road to it... not for drivers who just got their license). Probably peculiar to the region, but the value for money was not OK, we paid more than 1600 euros for a week, our 2nd apartment 2 hours further was 1000 euros and ultimately better, but again: probably peculiar to the region. Good base for visits to the Cinque terre. You can also have pizzas brought to your room, the hostess will arrange all this.

Very beautiful place in the heights of La Spezia. In the middle of the olive trees, with the singing of the cicadas. Magnificent view from the terrace and the pool. Furnished and equipped in a simple and comfortable way. Very clean, including the common areas, the pool. Discretion of the owner who remains, however, very attentive and available. Very good farm products (eggs, olive oil, wine).

Structure nothing short of gorgeous, it has far exceeded expectations. The view of the city of La Spezia is simply incredible: surrounded by greenery and just five minutes from the center. To reach the structure, take a private asphalt road, a little narrow, slightly sloping and with several hairpin bends, which climbs up the hill. It was a real pleasure to ride the bike: dynamic, panoramic and fun for those who love to drive. (Maybe those who are not very “practical” with the car/bike might have some small slowdown on the curves but nothing impossible) Ms. Daniela, the owner, and her daughter are people of a unique kindness and friendliness .. always available and helpful, ready to help for any need throughout your stay. The structure, being a family-run farm, does not have a 24-hour reception nor all those typical services of a traditional hotel but there is still a lot of work and commitment to ensure an excellent Service in all respects, which is then satisfied. Therefore, we have much preferred this formula: the atmosphere is more intimate, authentic and welcoming. You really feel the human contact between the management and the guests (each person is treated like a “family”, unlike many hotels where you just feel like passing through. In addition, you can buy local products of their production, such as honey and olive oil: both exquisite and at a more than fair price, considering that they are zero km. Of this stay we will surely remain a beautiful memory, and we will be more than happy to return to visit in the future. Sincere thanks again for everything... see you next time! Mirko and Jasmin
