Cinqueterre Residence

An unforgettable experience.. Located on the upper part of Riomaggiore, it allows you to enjoy a fantastic view and equally fantastic sunsets. The staff is impeccable in everything.. thoughtful, attentive, and precise with directions both regarding arrival at their property and regarding all the useful information for getting around the wonderful villages of the Cinque Terre.. what can I say, a vacation that regenerates you in every sense..

We really enjoyed our stay at this bed & breakfast. When we arrived, we were able to get a taxi quickly from the train station, and the taxi was included in the price. Finding our way around Riomaggiore would have been quite difficult for first-time visitors, so the taxi was a really lovely surprise. We soon learned how to get around on our own between the train station, the harbor, and the accommodation, so by the end of our trip it was easy to get around. The lifts were also included in the price of our stay, which was especially nice in the evenings after dinner. That said, guests should keep in mind that Riomaggiore naturally has a lot of steep stairs and streets, so you cannot completely avoid a bit of exercise, even though everything possible had been done to make getting around as easy as possible. The room was clean, and the bathroom in particular was spacious. For environmental reasons, the air conditioning was set to 23°C, which was cool enough for us to sleep comfortably. Our room was stocked daily with water, soft drinks, and iced tea, which was a lovely extra. The rooms were cleaned every day. In addition to regular towels, we were provided with bathrobes and beach towels. There was a small table and chairs right outside our room, with a beautiful view over the town. We occasionally ordered pizza and enjoyed eating it on our own terrace. After a day of hiking, it was lovely to relax in the hot tubs, and the beautiful terrace overlooking the sea was also a wonderful place to sunbathe. Breakfast was good and plentiful, and you could also enjoy it on the outdoor terrace. The tomatoes were grown on the property, which was a fun little detail. During the day, the bar was also open, serving delicious drinks and local wines, which could be charged to our room. The staff were incredibly friendly, and all our requests were handled promptly. Another big plus was that we were allowed to stay on the property after check-out while waiting for our train. I thought this was a wonderful sign of hospitality, even after we had officially checked out of our room. I highly recommend this place to everyone!
