Europa Grand Hotel

The hotel is located on a hill, so it has a wonderful view of the Gulf of Lerici! The interiors are new, clean, and elegant. Spacious restaurant with the possibility of walking outside on the terrace. Breakfast gets an A+! Everything is well-cared for, everything is good, for both celiacs and vegetarians. Wide assortment of sweet and savory options. But with high quality! Fruit juice in pitchers, including pear flavor, which you practically never find in other hotels! Well done! Lunch was also high quality, simple but tasty. The room was very comfortable and spacious with a walk-in closet! Bed gets a 10, memory foam pillows get an A+! Free WiFi with password. Staff all very kind and courteous. Only two observations: 1) the parking is on the street and is not very large, but just leave the car keys at the reception and if needed they will move them. 2) in the room the only mirror was the one in the bathroom, so practically only for the face. There was no mirror to look at yourself in full. Thanks 😊

Title: NEVER AGAIN - Total disappointment for a "Grand Hotel" I am a Google Local Guide with 137 reviews. Unfortunately my experience at Europa Grand Hotel was terrible. ARRIVAL & RECEPTION: Shabby and neglected from the moment you arrive. Scratched reception desk, dirty and grimy walls, worn-out doors. Unacceptable for a "Grand Hotel". ROOM - VIEW: I expected a beautiful view of Lerici. Instead we got a room with a view into a flower bed / dirt. Quite depressing. Be very careful what room you get. ROOM - CLEANLINESS & CONDITION: Dingy, dirty and neglected room (everything documented in photos): • Other people's hair in the bathroom • Walls splashed with unknown liquid, dirty and stained • Floor in the room falling apart • Poor quality tiling on walls and floors • Toilet bowl moves under you (badly screwed on) BATHROOM / WATER LEAK: Evident water leak from the shower into the wall. On the other side, in the outside corridor, pieces of wall are falling off due to damp. BREAKFAST: The only positive is the breakfast and the view from the terrace during breakfast. But even there: layer of dust everywhere and torn cushions on chairs. PARKING: Extremely tight parking. My car got scratched. CONCLUSION: For that price, truly horrible. Never again this hotel.

Pleasant environment, super breakfast!!!!
