Dora

Horrible tourist trap, expensive, bad food, noisy and unpleasant staff. Never again. Gave me a bad taste of cinque terre. Rip off

Very nice location, close to train station also near a laundromat. Out to the right takes you to the beach restaurants and stores. Very nice breakfast included. Has a small refrigerator. AC just OK. And as with all hotels no hooks for towels or clothes in bathroom.

We stayed for 3 nights to visit the Cinque Terre in this lovely hotel in Levanto. We were two adults and two boys (aged 11 and 13) and we were reserved a large and comfortable room with double bed and bunk bed. The room was simple and the furniture dated but quality. Large and comfortable bathroom. The lobby area is very nice as well as the terrace available to customers. The breakfast was very good, only the local focaccia was missing, for the rest there was everything, including a small separate buffet with gluten-free foods. One evening we even had dinner at the hotel. The fixed price dinner offers 1 starter, 1 first course, 2 main courses of your choice, side dish and dessert, all cooked in a simple and no-frills way. He did not fully convince us even though the Service was kind and we were offered a change menu for the first one which was fish and not liked by my son. Convenient parking right in front of the hotel. The hotel is located a few steps from the center of Levanto and 5 minutes from the train station from where you leave for the Cinque Terre. Right in front of the hotel there is a supermarket where you will find a bit of everything, including local specialties (both fresh and packaged). The room deserves a refresh but the kindness we found compensated very well for this aspect. The village of Levanto is also very nice and the bike path to Bonassola really deserves!
