Hotel San Desiderio

A place that instills serenity, that was my immediate feeling in this hotel, where you are always welcomed with a smile and maximum availability for any type of request. Originality and cheerfulness, nice garden for breakfast... you feel like family. No problem parking, given the permit that the hotel provides. Very close to the seafront. Recommended!

A 5-star experience with the simplicity of home, which is the most beautiful thing; we were welcomed with a smile and by two beautiful big dogs. The kindness and willingness to offer advice from Marco and Filippo are the ingredients that make a place unique. The breakfast is excellent, with delicious cappuccino, focaccia, croissants, and a wide variety of choices including 4 types of jam, peanut butter, Nutella, and maple syrup, as well as many types of juice and savory options, cakes, yogurt, and bread. They have a very nice garden for breakfast, the room is very clean and well-maintained, with amenities that I have not seen in any other hotel so far. We spent two nights in this hotel feeling welcomed and even exchanged a few words with two lovely people. Highly recommended, and I hope to return!

Do not be fooled by the two stars: the San Desiderio Hotel is a real surprise. Marco and Filippo, the owners, have worked for years in five-star establishments, and this experience is evident in every detail of the stay. They have deliberately chosen to create a two-star hotel with a simple, informal, and family-like atmosphere, but with a focus on customer care and a level of service that reflects their professionalism. Their kindness, availability, and friendliness are certainly one of the strengths of the establishment. They welcome every guest with warmth, attention, and discretion, making everyone feel at home right away. It is clear that they love their work and know how to take care of people with naturalness and competence. The hotel is located in a very convenient position, just a few steps from the center, the waterfront, and the station, yet in a quiet area that ensures excellent rest. The rooms are clean, welcoming, well-detailed, and tastefully furnished, each with an original and colorful style. They are equipped with many comforts, such as a fridge, safe, coffee machine, kettle with herbal teas, air conditioning, and personal care products: small touches that truly make a difference. The breakfast is abundant, varied, and of high quality, with sweet and savory options, excellent Ligurian focaccia, bread, pastries, and attention to any intolerances. Even the friendly big dogs of the establishment contribute to creating an even more family-like and pleasant atmosphere. This is truly a Pet Friendly hotel!!! Cleanliness, strategic location, attention to detail, and above all, the authentic hospitality of Marco and Filippo make the stay truly special. A highly recommended hotel run by two truly exquisite people!
