Hotel Esperia

We were guests here for a few days. Second time we have come and had the opportunity to experience all the positive aspects. Very convenient: a stone's throw from the beach and the center. Very courteous staff: from the managers, to the girl at the reception in the afternoon (very sweet) to the night porter. Very beautiful renovated rooms, very comfortable bed, very beautiful bathroom. Overlooking a small balcony with a sea view, abundant breakfast without the "breathing down your neck" typical of many Ligurian breakfasts... I would say a guarantee!

During a week-long road trip between Italy and Provence, I stayed in different properties, changing hotels almost every day. The reviews I am leaving all stem from this same itinerary and recount the experience actually lived in each property, evaluated in the context of a road trip and not a stationary vacation. This was the last stop of our tour, during the return from Provence. We chose to stop in Sanremo to visit, even if only for a day, the famous city of the Festival. Upon arrival at the hotel, I was lucky enough to find a public parking space right in front of the property (with hourly rates). In any case, the very kind Marta, at the reception, had already proposed the alternative of the hotel's reserved parking, available at a very reasonable price. The welcome was one of the strong points of the stay. Marta professionally illustrated all the services of the property to us and, knowing the city, she also advised us where to have dinner. We followed her suggestion by choosing a Neapolitan pizzeria that turned out to be an excellent choice. The room, located on the first floor and easily reachable by elevator, was of adequate size, clean, well-furnished, and equipped with everything necessary. The bed proved to be very comfortable, allowing us to rest well after a long day of travel. The following morning we also appreciated the breakfast. The managers present in the dining room welcomed us with great courtesy, offering us coffee and cappuccino prepared on the spot (finally a real Italian coffee!), accompanied by a rich buffet with a wide choice of both sweet and savory products. An additional strong point is undoubtedly the location of the property: the hotel is located a few hundred meters from the historic center of Sanremo, the famous Ariston Theater, and the seafront. It is difficult to find any truly negative aspects to report, because the stay fully met our expectations. The property, the welcome, the room, the breakfast, and the location all contributed to making this short stay pleasant. As in any hospitality business, naturally, there is always something that can be improved or some detail that can be taken care of further to offer customers an even more complete experience. However, in our specific case, we did not encounter any particular shortcomings or service issues to highlight. The overall judgment therefore remains very positive: we found attentive management, availability towards guests, and all the necessary services to spend a comfortable stay.

We stayed only one night but we will definitely return because we found the staff to be very kind; they helped us in every possible way, and the cleanliness was excellent! We had two bikes, and they allowed us to put them in a corner, and at the time of our departure, they let us use the bathroom even though we had checked out hours earlier in the morning! We recommend this hotel to everyone; it is just a short walk from the center and the beaches! Honest price!
