Lolli Palace

Don't trust all the reviews, I almost canceled my stay at this hotel because of them! This hotel is really very good. The location is perfect, the staff very pleasant and the rooms very decent for the price. We had the apartment at the very top, it was very large, 2 bathrooms for the 4 of us was perfect and above all a sublime sea view. The solarium is pleasant, it is true that it lacks a pool or jacuzzi. Parking is complicated in Sanremo, but we were lucky to have a free spot on the side of the hotel thanks to the reception. We are very satisfied with our stay.

I stayed here for two days and one night with my partner with a reservation through Booking, but I do not recommend it to ANYONE. Let's start from the beginning when, upon arrival, we noticed the property looked very beautiful from the outside... and the reception also seemed welcoming at first glance; we were on the 3rd floor with a sea view. Entering the room, everything seemed okay until I decided to check the bathroom and noticed it only has a tub but with a handheld shower head above it, with a plastic part acting as a screen that is very old, and the radiator is rusty. The room's bathroom has no window and the ventilation does not work! Checking carefully, I noticed dust around, especially behind the television and behind the headboard of the bed... the minibar was completely empty. The radiators have paint that comes off like butter. I decided to try room service and have a fruit salad brought to us, but it seemed like it was from last month... The hotel has a beautiful terrace to admire a part of the city with a sea view, and no other positive aspects. At dinner time, I didn't even have time to open the menu before the waitress immediately asked us what we wanted to order.. I left hungry, €70 which is not a small amount for those 2 miserable dishes and a dessert.. and they even made us pay for the filtered water!! A disgrace. My partner ordered the roast with mushrooms, and according to what was written on the menu, it arrived with baked potatoes!! The risotto was super overcooked. €70, congratulations. At night, despite the closed windows, you could hear nighttime chaos. In the morning at breakfast time, I peeled a hard-boiled egg that wasn't hard-boiled, it was sawdust, overcooked. But the real beauty was finding a pair of socks used by some previous guest before us under the furniture at the entrance to the room🫣💪🏻 Summary of the total: very expensive, outside the norm according to expectations. Poor quality hotel

Hotel in the center of Sanremo, with the possibility of parking in paid public areas. Rooms are essential in size, but very clean and with comfortable beds, quite soundproof even though they overlook a busy central street. Excellent view from the rooftop with relaxing seating. Dinner with good food, but it does not justify the price of €32/35 excluding drinks (even still water), just like breakfast (€15), with little choice, especially in savory items, even if everything is of good quality. Overall a good stay.
