I contacted the property by phone on Sunday for a reservation, agreeing on the dates of the stay, price, room, and services. My arrival date would have been at the end of the week. After hearing from the taxi, two days later, I called the hotel to communicate the arrival day, which would have been Friday. The room was no longer available until Sunday (that would have been the lesser of two evils) but, to my great surprise, the price had been arbitrarily increased, shamelessly contradicting what was communicated to me before, in an arrogant and rude manner.. Furthermore, payment for the entire stay had to be made in advance because if my stay did not last for the entire period, they would have lost money.. Naturally, no one can predict unforeseen events, but they are certainly aware of the game that hoteliers are playing now.. they make you pay for the entire stay in advance so that if someone has to return home early due to a problem, they put the room back on Booking and earn double.. Not bad, this new commercial policy.. congratulations! I pay for services at the end of the stay, except obviously for the deposit which, by law, cannot exceed 30% and in the case of cancellation for a justified reason, it must be returned to the customer. 80s style hotel but clean and kind staff. Close to the beach and services.

Everything perfect. Clean hotel a stone's throw from the beach with parking availability and no architectural barriers. The entire staff (from the floor staff to the breakfast waiters, to the reception guys) is very kind and everyone always does their best for any need or request you may have, always with a smile, and they never pass on their stress. Together with Mrs. Paola (the owner), they resolved all (all!) of our little problems and requests in a short time. There is no restaurant, but they will still set the table for you if you want to order food from outside; we needed specific medicines and they arrived in 20 minutes (!), we asked for a wheelchair for my elderly father and the next day we had the wheelchair (!), the bathroom lightbulb broke and they changed it in less than an hour. Efficient, effective, and fast. You don't even have to book the beach umbrella because the hotel reception can do it, as they have an agreement with Bagni Colombo (a 4-minute walk from the hotel). They also have an agreement with the Prana restaurant (also just 4 minutes from the hotel, it is attached to Bagni Colombo) where you eat very, very well and with a discount; you can really taste the freshness of the fish and at honest prices. In short, a super positive experience without even a single negative point. The rooms are the right size, neither big nor small, and are well soundproofed (in 14 days of staying, I never heard noises coming from the other rooms). The TV is large (another positive thing that is not always found). The air conditioning is personally adjustable (another great thing that is not a given), easy to use, and works very well (the room cools down in 2 minutes). Our two rooms also had a nice little terrace that is convenient and useful for returning from the beach (if you have wet swimsuits and/or towels, for example) and also for any smokers. If I return to the area, I will definitely return to the Garden. Truly well done. Piero A. (Venice)
