Best Western Hotel Acqua Novella

We have been guests of this property for several years, which we have always considered a little paradise from every point of view. Unfortunately, this year we encountered a real collapse in hospitality.. During a week-long stay, the sheets were never changed. In the room, with a beautiful sea view, and therefore of a certain cost, we were provided, upon request, with a dilapidated and rusty drying rack. The breakfast room, which was always well-stocked with every delicacy, is now truly poor in quality and variety. The pool was dirty and the garden, once lush and well-kept, is now very neglected and full of weeds and dry plants. If you are a 4-star hotel, you must offer 4-star services. The old clientele will hardly return. What a shame.

The hotel is located in a beautiful position in Spotorno, with a splendid sea view, especially from the breakfast room. Very friendly and attentive staff, very cute rooms, and excellent cleanliness; the shower is a bit small and it's a struggle, but for a week it's fine. The breakfast is very varied and well presented. The TVs in the rooms just need to be updated to smart TVs, as you can barely see anything and they don't connect to the internet. Overall a nice experience.

The parking lot, which is also very inconvenient to reach, costs 18 dollars a night! Breakfast, at the modest price of 12 dollars a day, is really worth nothing: drinks must be taken independently from automatic machines (which make bad coffee, latte macchiato, and cappuccino) and the food is scarce (no bananas for 3 days, no cream cheese for 2 days, no prosciutto, no dried fruit) and of very poor quality (inedible cakes and cardboard croissants). The pool is small and dirty, full of things on the bottom. The bathroom set only includes: a shower cap, one body wash-shampoo per person, and a small bar of soap. The room was dirty, and the French door overlooking the tall, wild vegetation was missing a screen. The view from the room was compromised by the building in front... so much for a sea view! The bed linens were never changed during our 5-day stay. The cleanliness of the room and bathroom leaves much to be desired. There were only small bottles of water in the minibar. - Recommendations: we were recommended the Vela Azzurra beach club in front, where we did not have a good experience. Unfortunately, the reality was quite different: the main view was of a paved parking lot and a building in front, with only a glimpse of the sea visible.
