Nestled in the charming village of San Giovanni, Locanda della Maria was a wonderful discovery. This Bed & Breakfast has an incredible charm, reminiscent of the authentic places one would like to keep secret. The room was comfortable, clean, and tastefully decorated. The welcome, warm and sincere, immediately made us feel at home. The setting is peaceful, just a few steps from the lake, with that typically Italian atmosphere that makes the stay so enjoyable. Between the charm of the place, the kindness of the hosts, and the ideal location to discover Bellagio and the shores of Lake Como, everything came together for an excellent time. A place full of character that we recommend without hesitation and where we will return with great pleasure.

We stayed only 1 night (unfortunately) in this lovely place. Express check-in and clean and spacious room. It is located in a small neighborhood perfect for visiting the lake area. Unfortunately we could not taste breakfast having to do a checkout early but we hope to return. Recommended!
