Villa Fenaroli Palace Hotel

The villa is undoubtedly majestic and has a great visual impact. The exterior is very well maintained and taken care of. The interior spaces are very spacious, including the rooms that could be improved. From the terrace where breakfast is served, there is a fantastic view. The staff is very courteous and professional.

On our museum trip in Italy, we also spent a night at this hotel. It is an old and authentic but very beautiful hotel, with friendly staff, a good room, and a very good restaurant. The only thing we can criticize is the private road to the hotel, which is very bumpy and full of potholes—so it is not paved, meaning you have to drive slowly. However, this road reflects the originality and age of the building; a paved road would detract from the whole, so for us, it was not a problem at all. We can highly recommend the hotel.

About the beauty of the building and the rooms nothing to say. For the rest.... Customer respect this stranger. I stayed at this hotel on Sunday evening and the hotel restaurant was hosting a wedding. Once in the room I realize that the DJ seems to speak from inside my room. So I call reception complaining that no one, either at the time of booking, or later, had notified me of the presence of a wedding on Sunday evening. So they change my room giving me a more distant (and according to them of a higher category) and in fact reigned peace and tranquility. Until at 11.30pm I am woken up by music and DJ at full volume because the party has moved to the garden. I call reception again just to point out that the situation is unlikely and I am told that they will go on for another half hour. In fact, it was impossible for me to sleep until 2 a.m. In the morning at reception they try to silence my complaints with a "we gave her a better room". But I didn't care about a better or worse room, I cared about being able to rest. And I am surprised that this concept is not clear to those who run a hotel. Sure, all rights to host events but we warn other guests of the possible inconvenience. Instead here we try to grab every possible euro without any respect for the customer. Also as icing on the cake, the directions on the wall of the direction to follow for the rooms (the structure is very large) are wrong. I was already nervous and wandering the corridors with half-unpacked suitcases, plus following the directions I went around exactly on the opposite side to where I had to go. Pointed out this too the answer, without blinking makes me think they were already aware "we should change the directions". Not even in a half-star hotel would they have held such an attitude, let alone what should be in a 4-star historic home.
