B&B Hotel Milano

I have been staying at this facility for a good 7 months, so I have had the opportunity to appreciate both the strengths and weaknesses over time. Strengths: The rooms for those staying alone or with a maximum of 2 people are just fine, equipped with air conditioning, a mini desk to possibly place a laptop, and a generous window to let in plenty of air and light; the bathroom is minimal but, for a couple of nights, it is perfectly fine, featuring a large shower and both a toilet and bidet. Weaknesses: the only weaknesses encountered were the showerheads, a bit clogged with limescale, and the toilet flush, not always functioning, but in recent months they have fixed everything, resolving these two issues. I have had the opportunity to use several rooms, both on the 5th and 6th floors, so I am not basing my assessment on just one room but on over 10 different rooms. I greatly appreciated the upgrade received with the rooms on the 6th floor, and I really enjoy the varied breakfast rich in everything one could want for breakfast, both sweet and savory. One particularity that I personally appreciate a lot is the fresh orange juice that I rarely find even in higher-end hotels. I want to give a shout-out to the reception staff (Luca and Carlos) who are not only competent but also friendly and kind; qualities that are not always taken for granted in other facilities. The breakfast staff... is fine, a bit less involved in the activity but equally acceptable.

We had a great stay. At some point we needed medical support and the staff helped us out tremendously.

For a cheap break away, this was perfect. It has a shopping centre next door would you believe, result. The beds were clean and comfortable. The room was a decent size, with a good shower, high toilet and biddet. The breakfast was plentyful, with lots of staff waiting to advise and clear away. Reception was basic but always had someone to help. There were vending machines, where you can pick up a cold drink, microwave meal, sandwich, and some other bips and bops you may have forgotton to pack (toothbrush etc). Location was a bit out the way, but we found it easy to take Ubers. Got the train in to Lake Como, including a fenicular ride for just 15 euros return, worth a visit. All in all, i recommend this place and will probably stay at one of the other B&B hotel chains. Thank you 😘
