Hotel Valley

I had to book this place under some terrible situation and under some emergency and I got this place. But this place is not at all great. The food here not at all great no quality. This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed.

Let's start from the beginning, we booked a room for 3 people online, we arrived in Milan and we found out that our room didn't have a toilet (even if the website said so) and there was no way to get a room with a private toilet, so we had to share one with other people. The room was awful, holes in the walls and even in the bed sheets (those were fixed with tape, I'm not even kidding). There weren't enough sockets for us all to charge our phones. The toilet was even worse we had no bidet, and no shower, we could only shower inside a bath which was extremely dirty and disgusting, we even found pee on the toilet seat. The room was always pretty cold as the radiators didn't work through the night, but only from 5am to 12am, same goes for hot water. When we booked I checked online if they accepted American Express, and apparently they did. Once we arrived I asked again and the owner told me they did. Then when I was about to pay the bill they told me they actually don't accept it. So I gave all the money I had (which was around half of the whole bill) and asked for a nearby ATM, they didn't even know where that was. We came back later that night with the money, and the owner asked for the money IN THE STREET before opening the door for us. Oh, don't expect a receipt, and the breakfast? They don't even have an area to have breakfast in so guess what, another lie. So unless you want to live a nightmare, AVOID THIS PLACE.

We booked to stay at another place on this street which required us to book in via this hotel, it turned out to be the same hotel under another name Hotel Milano Vintage. On arrival we were required to make additional payments which the booking agent we used notified us about however the hotel increased the fee by nearly a third. We booked a room with a bathroom and kitchenette when we got to our room we found out it had neither. the response from the reception guy was oh well not my problem. the room itself was dirty and unloved. the curtain rail was not hanging correctly and the window did not shut properly. (meaning we had to carry our valuables around with us as we did not feel safe leaving in the room). All the cables in the room looked unsafe. they had done a home diy job on extending the power cable for the tv which was unusable due to a lack of remote control. Above one of the beds was a hole in the head board with protruding screws. The communal bathroom was horrible. there was constantly liquid on the floor and the bath had stains on which were years old. the hotel charged a daily cleaning fee but the place hadn't been cleaned prior to arrival or at any time during our stay. the hotel charged a daily fee for sheets and towels but our towels were never changed and the sheets hardly fitted the bed. there are plenty of hotels around so if your budget allows go elsewhere. the only positive about this place is its location!!
