Hotel Vecchio Convento

Hotel is onlt 12 min drive to fiera Milano..Especially if you rent a car it is a good economical hotel..Rooms are big but furnitures are little bit old..Breakfast is weak but we bought some cheese and additional stuff .There is a big market and many nice restaurants..

We were here one night just to see the sights, then out of here. We wanted to be in the heart of it. They were nice enough at the front desk but the room was dirty, We had at least inch of dust on the door to the bathroom, pretty simple cleaning. There was a skimpy little curtain to block a very bright street that hung directly in front of the window so the room was lit like a christmas tree all night, not what you want after a transatlantic flight. There was also an overwhelming smell of air freshener that was killing my sinuses and the paint was peeling on the walls.

Great place in a historic building if ever you are planning to stay in a place close to Milan city, especially for the RHO fiera. Very simple management, speak English and will go out of their way to serve you.
