Very well-located hotel with a boat pier 5 minutes away on foot and restaurants very close by. Book a room with a lake view, you will not be disappointed. Personally, I would have preferred a room with a shower instead of a bathtub. Good breakfast on the terrace with a view of the lake; the morning staff could be a little friendlier. The pool area is very pleasant with a sufficient number of lounge chairs and chairs. Very welcoming reception staff. However, the garage across from the hotel is a bit expensive at €25 per night, but convenient because there is little parking in the area.

Helpful staff but the room was disappointing. Creaking wood floor, furnishing like white IKEA, a Tiny shower with no place to put soap so we had to put it on the floor! But, our room, 101, had an amazing terrace overlooking the lake that made up for the room. Underground parking is available across the street. Great location if you are using the ferry. Laundry across the street charges over $9. Per wash load

A fantastic hotel which exceeded my expectations for the price. So I am a solo 57 year old traveller who has stayed at Lake Garda and Maggiore but struggled to find a place in Como until now. You will not better the location of the hotel, right on the front in between the ferry boat departure point and the main piazza. Stunning to have breakfast outside on the lake with those views and to swim in the small pool while looking at the lake (while it was small, it was never crowded and I could always find space). I went with Inghams and was very clear I was getting a single no balcony room, indeed it was these features which made Menaggio affordable as a solo traveller! I was expecting a dingy cupboard tbh and was pleasantly surprised! I was in room 209 which was quiet, airy, clean, a comfortable temperature and with a spacious bathroom with a hood shower. Cleaning etc all fine. As expected continental breakfast. Would I return? Absolutely! Excellent value for money.
